Oman’s Advisor for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation Visits Sri Lanka

Advisor for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation of the Sultanate of Oman, Pankhaj Khimji, accompanied by senior officials of the Ministry of Trade and Commerce of Oman, paid an official visit to Sri Lanka. During the visit, he called on Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya and held discussions with Minister of Trade Wasantha Samarasinghe, Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath, and Deputy Minister of Finance Anil Fayantha Fernando. He also met with the President and members of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka.

President of Oman Cricket, Pankhaj Khimji, met with the Interim Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket.

Discussions focused on forthcoming negotiations on a mechanism to further expand bilateral trade, strengthen cooperation in ports and shipping, fisheries and agriculture, and promote investment.
