The new Executive Committee of the Sri Lankan Association in Poland (SLAPL) called on the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Poland, Priyangika Dharmasena, on 02 October 2026 at the Embassy premises.

During the cordial discussion, matters relating to consular services for the Sri Lankan commnity in Poland were discussed. Sri Lanka Expo 2027, scheduled to be held from 14 to 17 Januarary 2027, was also discussed, and the Committee extended its support to disseminate information on the Expo among companies and other stakeholders and promote their participation.
