The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Austria facilitated a visiting delegation of the Chamber of Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE), comprising Chairman Suren Chandraratna and Past Chairman Manjula Wijewardana, to meet officials of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO) and Junior Chamber International (JCI) Austria to discuss trade promotion activities.

The delegation met President of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Austria, Bettina Wurzer and Executive Vice President, Jakob Dalik on 17 September 2026, and Head of Regional Management of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Drazeb Maloca on 18 September 2026, and discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two chambers.
